AquaStar Pipeline PLF27000 Filter
AquaStar Pipeline PLF35000 FilterEngineered as an OEM replacement lid assembly for AquaStar's PLF27000 and PLF35000 Pipeline cartridge filter series, the AquaStar PF2001 serves as the primary access point for cartridge maintenance and must seal properly under operating pressure to prevent air infiltration and water bypass. A cracked, warped, or damaged lid is one of the most common reasons a Pipeline filter loses pressure or fails to deliver full filtration performance, making timely replacement of the assembly an important maintenance task. The PF2001 incorporates AquaStar's patented safe-release collar design, allowing the lid to be removed and reinstalled quickly and safely without specialty tools so routine cartridge cleaning stays fast and straightforward. The lid is manufactured in the USA by AquaStar Pool Products and engineered to match original equipment specifications exactly. Note that the matching lid O-ring (O-RING453) is sold separately and should be replaced at the same time as the lid for a complete, leak-free seal restoration.
- Direct Fit for AquaStar Pipeline Filters: Designed as a direct OEM replacement lid for both the PLF27000 (200 sq ft, 27,000 gallon) and PLF35000 (250 sq ft, 35,000 gallon) AquaStar Pipeline cartridge filters, the PF2001 provides full coverage across the Pipeline series for residential and light commercial pool installations.
- Tool-Free Safe-Release Collar: AquaStar's patented safe-release collar lets the lid be unlocked, removed, and reinstalled by hand without any specialty tools, an important convenience that streamlines cartridge access during cleaning cycles and shortens routine filter maintenance time over the swim season.
- Addresses Filter Pressure Loss: A warped, cracked, or otherwise compromised filter lid is one of the leading causes of pressure loss, air leaks, and reduced filtration efficiency in Pipeline filters, and dropping in the correct PF2001 OEM lid assembly restores the filter to its intended operating pressure profile.
- AquaStar OEM Manufacturing in the USA: AquaStar Pool Products manufactures the PF2001 in the United States to exact factory specifications, providing the same dimensional accuracy, structural strength, and sealing surface as the original lid installed at the time of filter manufacture.
- Best Paired with a New O-Ring: Because lid leaks often involve both the lid body and its O-ring, AquaStar recommends replacing the lid O-ring (O-RING453) simultaneously with the PF2001 to achieve a fully watertight, pressure-resistant seal and eliminate the most common sources of lid-related pressure drift.
