Application For Green To Clear
1. Backwash pool for up to 2 minutes then rinse for 20 seconds, or clean filters before application.
2. Check and adjust pH to between 6.8 and 7.4
3. Disconnect any automatic pool cleaners. With the pump running and multiport set to the filter position pour contents directly into pool skimmer.
4. Add 2.2 lbs of chlorine shock per 13,000 gallons to the pool (if using Calcium Hypochlorite shock administer via the pool skimmer only).
5. Run pump for 30 minutes, then return to normal cycle. No swimming, vacuuming, or brushing until pool clears. Expect pool to go cloudy within 30 minutes after application. This is normal and will clear shortly thereafter.
6. Vacuum the resultant residue once the debris has settled.
Application For Monthly Maintenance
1. Backwash pool for up to 2 minutes then rinse for 20 seconds, or clean filters before application.
2. With the pump running and multiport set to the filter position, pour contents directly into the pool skimmer.
3. Run the pool pump continuously for 30 minutes after application, then return pump to normal cycle.
4. Repeat application monthly.
Pool Care Guidelines
Maintain pool chemistry:
• Chlorine: 0.5 - 1.0 ppm
• pH: 6.8 - 7.4
• Alkalinity: 80 - 120 ppm
• Cyanuric Acid: below 50 ppm
Ensure your copper levels are at or below 0.2 pm before application. If the copper is higher than 0.2 pm then pause application until this threshold is reached. This scenario is common in low use pools or during winter monihs.
If pool water discoloration occurs if is usually associated with extreme weather conditions (.e. lightning, rain, extreme heat) and or unexpected high bather loads - check your pH and free chlorine levels immediately and adjust if required, it may be necessary to so shock" your pool with additional chlorine.
Saltwater pool application - normal application applies but be prepared to lower the output to maintain a new lower free chlorine reading to between 0.5 ppm and 1 ppm.
For best results use Trichlor tablets with the Monthly Maintenance application.
