Step-By-Step Instructions:
- Prepare for Cleaning: Remove grids or cartridges from the filter.
- Create Cleaning Solution: In a clean, plastic pail, bucket, or trash can containing 8 gallons of water, pour in the contents of Filter Clean. (This quantity is sufficient to clean 110 square feet of filter area.)
- Immerse Filter Elements: Place the cartridge or grids upright in the solution.
- Soaking Process: Allow the filter elements to soak for a minimum of 3 hours. For optimal results, consider soaking overnight for maximum effectiveness.
Complete the Cleaning Process:
- Remove the filter from the solution.
- Hose off the filter with a high-pressure nozzle.
- Replace the clean filter back into its position.
Usage Guidelines:
- Administer 32 fluid ounces per 110 square feet of filter area.
